This is probably the nicest "used" Apple iPod on eBay! I doubt I've put 20 hours on the unit. Absolutely complete with every single item it came with, all in mint condition. iPod itself is near mint. There are a few very minor abrasions on the case (these occur to the shiny backside if you just look at it!), but nothing that would take away from pride of ownership. If you want a 10GB 2nd generation iPod, you won't find a better one, at least not in my house!

Windows model M8740LL/A
Yeah, you get the box too. The box has: 10Gb 2nd Generation iPod, case, headphones, firewire cable, firewire charger adapter, software and documents, remote control, sack, and anything else that was there when I foolishly bought it for full retail.
Comes with FREE MUSIC.
But wait, there's more...You also get the collection of mp3 music that I loaded onto the iPod. It's chock full of my choices in music. Will you consider that a good thing? Hard to say. Heck, I'm not sure I'm all that thrilled with some of it. But it's trivially easy to delete the music and load it with your own choices. With 10Gb to play with, you'll never again find yourself complaining "darn, I forgot to load Zamfir!". And if --just if--you find that there's something pre-loaded on the iPod that you like...ChaChing! Free music! It just doesn't get better than that.
The auction rules!
(Read me!)

Why must there always be rules? Don't ask me, ask your philosophy professor. But here be my rules for this auction. Read them, learn them, love them. There will be a test on Tuesday. Slide rules will be permitted.
  1. Items are guaranteed as described. iPod guaranteed not DOA and properly functioning when it arrives. No other warranties apply.
  2. Buyer agrees to commence payment within 3 days of winning the auction. You may pay by PayPal (preferred) or else money order.
  3. Fixed rate shipping of $11.00 applies to sales within the Continental US. If you are not within the Continental US (that means you, Mr. Hawaii and Ms. Alaska), contact me for shipping.
  4. Have fun! This is supposed to be fun, right? I mean, an iPod is supposed to be a fun way to listen to music, and eBay is supposed to be a fun way to buy things. If you aren't having fun, then why bother? You might as well be poking your eyes with a hot stick. In which case, you are looking at the wrong auction. Do a search for "hot stick eyes" and see if you can find something appropriate, OK?

One more note: I haven't used this iPod in a few months. (I told you I barely used it). It will need to be charged before you use it. When you get it and push the button and it doesn't turn on immediately don't get freaked out and come running out of your house screaming "I've been scammed I've been scammed. Friends, Romans, countrymen, we must gather arms and prepare to march into battle with this evil-doer from eBay who has perpetrated this scam upon me, and upon us!"

No, don't do that. Just charge it up first. And it will work. And your neighbors will thank you for allowing them to get a bit more sleep.
Q. Why am I getting rid of this beautiful iPod?
A. Easy: I don't need it.
Q. Why, if I don't need it did I buy it in the first place?
A. Sorry, that's all the time we have for questions today.
Pretty header bubble, huh?
Note again: This is a no reserve auction. Winning bid WILL take it. Bid to win. Remember: The more you spend, the more I make. Share the wealth this summer holiday season.
Buy with confidence (but cash preferred!)

Buy with confidence. Because you're always sexier to those around you when you exude confidence. (Of course, if you're confident enough, and hence sexy enough, maybe you can convince someone else to buy you an iPod as a present, and you won't need mine. So for my sake, don't buy with TOO much confidence, OK?)

Oh, and you should also buy with confidence because I'm a longtime eBay PowerSeller with tons of positive feedback. Just oodles of it. Yikes, I almost feel like I'm drowning in it...Help me....argh....
