What we have here is what some consider the holy grail of DVD players: This is a brand new, factory sealed Apex AD-600A DVD player. This is the famous player with the special menus that allow you to change the region and to disable copy protection.

The Apex AD-600A DVD players that allowed you to access these options were only made for a short time. Then industry pressures forced them to change the design of the units.

As soon as this famous loophole became known, I went out and bought two of these players from a local retail store. One unit I installed, and the second unit sat in a box, awaiting installation in another room. Alas, I never got around to installing it. But both units were purchased on the exact same day, from the same store, and both came from the same shipping lot. The one I installed has the loophole menus, so I can 100% guarantee that the unopened unit DOES HAVE the famous loophole menus. (Look around...Most "loophole unit" auctions are either for well-used units, or else units that were opened and modified).

Why must there always be rules? Don't ask me, ask your philosophy professor. But here be my rules for this auction. Read them, learn them, love them. There will be a test on Tuesday. Slide rules will be permitted.
  1. DVD player is guaranteed brand new and factory sealed, but is otherwise sold as-is. No returns.
  2. Buyer agrees to commence payment within 3 days of winning the auction. You may pay by PayPal (preferred) or else money order.
  3. Fixed rate shipping, if specified, applies to sales within the Continental US. Sales outside the Continental US must contact me first for shipping costs.
